Welcome to the VAPR Lab

We are a dynamic research group at the Malviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. This lab function under the guidance of Dr. Deepak Ranjan Nayak of Department of Computer Science and Egineering at MNIT Jaipur, India. Our aim is to explore and understand computer vision and medical image analysis related problems. We are also working on several machine learning techniques and deep learning and randomized learning algorithms.

To this end, we strive to develop innovative techniques that go beyond traditional visual perception. Our vision is to construct advanced imaging systems that can perceive and interpret medical images with remarkable accuracy, empowering medical professionals to make more precise diagnoses and facilitate personalized treatments. we also aim to uncover hidden patterns and uncover valuable insights that can revolutionize fields such as remote sensing, environmental monitoring, and material characterization.(see Research).

We are located at Malviya national institute of technology, Jaipur, a vibrant city known for it’s cultural heritage, has a rich 50 years of history of excellence in education and research and we continue to build upon that foundation. We are currently ranked 37th among all engineering colleges in india and are driven by a spirit of curiosity and a desire to address the challanges thrown at us.
